We all dream. Sometimes we dream of big things and sometimes our dreams are small. Michael Hatley loves to put wheels on dreams and make them come true. For 33 years he’s been putting wheels on dreams of award winning brand advertising, the last 28 at Dallas agency The Richards Group for clients like Chick-fil-A, Dodge RAM, Home Depot and Patron. Now, at Hatley and Company he’s doing it for himself and causes he believes in like Texas Music Project. Michael serves on the executive steering committee as the chair-elect of the Richardson Wildflower Music Festival, which draws 90,000 visitors every year. As part of Wildflower he helps organize and produce a national songwriting contest, songwriting workshop and books the singer-songwriter stage drawing nationally recognized songwriters like Guy Clark, Jack Ingram, Joe Ely, David Wilcox and others. Michael and his wife Susie love kids and serve on the Richardson Area Young Life Committee. They also love inviting friends and neighbors over to hear original music and host Hatless House Concerts.
In short, if you don’t want something done, don’t tell Michael about it. Michael believes giving is greater than receiving and plans to spend the rest of his life doing just that.
