cliffDiscovered when he played at the Snowball Express Talent Showcase we produced and sponsored in 2012, we knew Cliff was special from the beginning. He received a TMP scholarship to study at the world-renown Septien School of Contemporary Music. A $2,500 grant from the George A. Robinson IV Foundation made Cliff’s TMP scholarship possible. He first sang publicly at summer camp during a skit after which the parents and kids were immediately impressed with his performance. Because of these compliments, Cliff began to participate in chorus at his church slowly, but in 2011, while living in Houston, he started taking his guitar to the Wednesday night church services. He and the Youth Minister would play and sing together at these meetings. It started to become a regular event when the Youth Minister would give Cliff songs to practice and play at the following week’s service, eventually leading the worship service. He plays both electric and acoustic guitars and sings.
