Earth Day Texas - Texas Music Project Earth Day 2015

Celebrate the Earth with Music!


April 24-26 | Fair Park | Admission- Free


This year, Texas Music Project ( TMP ) is presenting a two day educational and entertaining musical experience at Earth Day Texas ( EDTx) at Fair Park in Dallas.
The showcase will include young performers and professional in the music business working together to promote music education. The line up will include award winning artist and rising stars as part of TMP’s “Classroom2Stage” program.


TMP is a nonprofit organization that encourages kids and the community to follow their dreams through music. TMP partners with industry professionals, including Grammy winners Willie Nelson and T-Bone Burnett, to develop music-education programs for students, schools and the community.


Michael Clay, executive director and co-founder of TMP comments “Music is the perfect medium to bring people together. We believe that music has the power to connect and inspire people and this year’s event will do just that.”


EDTx is a free three-day event promoting “earth friendly environments” and will feature entertainment, education and engagement for the whole family. As it moves into its fifth year, Earth Day Texas, founded by Trammell S. Crow, has educated, entertained and engaged over 150,000 attendees. This year’s Eco Expo, which will boast almost 900 hands-on exhibits and is the the largest of its kind.

Keeping in step with EDTx mission, TMP will present an exhibit showing “how to make“ recycled musical instruments.

  • Rhett Butler – Awarding winning acoustic guitar player from Denton( plays two guitars at once )
