TMP Rising Stars – Sadie Evans

  |   Artists, Blog, Rising Star

If summed up in one word, the music of Sadie Evans is “diverse.” With a blend of influences such as Elvis, Dolly Parton, Journey, and Louis Armstrong, this 18 year old from Sulphur Springs melds them into her own unique musical creations. Ever since her first public performance of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” at her 2nd birthday party, Sadie has passionately pursued her dream of singing and writing songs, and learning to play both the guitar and piano along the way. After further developing her skills through musical theater and live performances at venues such as the House of Blues, the Centennial Rodeo Opry, and the Gas Monkey Live!, she will now be moving on to study Commercial Music and Songwriting at Belmont University this fall.

In the video below, Sadie exudes this passion by sharing a bit about the songwriting process and the importance of performing live. (Also – she lets us know the thing she’s most afraid of!)
