The Texas Music Project Tour Bus has been traveling across the great Lone Star State for 20 years going from town to town and gig to gig.It’s been an amazing and unforgettable road trip gathering support along the way from the Texas music community and fans for our mission to bring the joy of music to at-risk kids.Countless studies show the positive benefits of music in a child’s life and we believe music education and entertainment go hand in hand.

Special thanks goes to the Dali Lama of Texas music, Mr. Willie Nelson, for offering gratis use of his songs and becoming our first Honorary Chairman in 2003.

In addition, we are proud to be signed into a House Bill by the Governor and winning the Texas Commission on the Arts “Trail Blazer” award for our work. We have created over $5M for programs and awareness campaigns.

Only in the Lone Star State can you hear a magical blend of genres that has become the trademark sound of Texas worldwide. This “musical gumbo” has produced more Hall of Fame and Grammy winners than any place on the planet. We want to help continue this legacy and help the next generation of Texas musicians find their way from the classroom to the stage.
