SUPPORTING MUSIC EDUCATION

Song of Hope is a groundbreaking initiative from Texas Music Project that transforms real stories of courage into songs that inspire healing.

Working alongside children’s hospitals, music therapists, professional musicians, and young patients, we help children turn their experiences into professionally written and recorded songs that celebrate resilience, hope, and the strength of the human spirit.

But the journey doesn’t end with the music.

Each Song of Hope is being developed into animated stories, children’s books, and interactive educational experiences that extend the healing process far beyond the hospital room. Together, these resources help children process emotions, build confidence, and remind families that they are never alone.

At Texas Music Project, we believe every child has a story worth telling, every voice deserves to be heard, and every song has the power to heal.

This is more than music. This is Song of Hope.

Join Texas Music Project as we bring Song of Hope to children’s hospitals across Texas and beyond. Your support helps transform moments of courage into songs, stories, and educational resources that inspire healing for generations to come.

Donate, partner with us, or simply share our mission.
Together, we can turn every song into a legacy of hope.

Chloee Rae

One shining success is TMP Student Ambassador Chloee Rae, a former patient who wrote and recorded the heartfelt song, Thank You for the Music.
Aligning Missions for impact
the collaboration with Lauren Daigle and The Price Fund underscores TMP’s mission to bring the healing power of music to those who need it most.

Skyler Derrington

Inspired by the remarkable journey of Texas Music Project Junior Ambassador Skyler Derrington, Miracle is more than a song. It is a story of resilience, faith, hope, and the healing power of music.

After surviving the devastating Texas Hill Country floods, Skyler chose to turn her experience into something that could encourage others.

Imagination

The Song of Hope initiative has grown beyond a single song into an educational and inspiring catalog of songs from those who have faced life threatening challenges.
With industry professionals, we’re developing songs, music videos, books, animated stories, and even an interactive app with games and music lessons. These programs will be streamed to patients rooms on hospital TV, giving children new ways to learn, heal, and express themselves. It’s interactive and a powerful reminder that music reaches where words cannot by bringing comfort, joy, and hope to those who need it most.

JOIN OUR EFFORTS

For nearly 25 years, Texas Music Project has witnessed the extraordinary power of music to comfort children facing illness, trauma, loss, and adversity.

Along the way, we realized something profound.

A hospital visit ends.
A concert ends.
Even the most successful nonprofit program eventually ends.

But a song can last a lifetime.
A story can inspire generations.

Texas Music Project 2.0 is building The Library of Hope,
a permanent and growing collection of music, films, animation, educational resources, and digital experiences designed to inspire children and families for generations to come.

Most organizations create programs.
We are creating a permanent collection of stories that continue giving long after the event is over.

We are writing a new song, and we would love for you to come along!
