A BIG WIN FOR TMP
Big things are happening at Texas Music Project and you are part of the reason! Thank you for all your support, as we continue experiencing the impact and momentum.
From a major grant announcement to marching bands, first-time ukulele players and young artists taking the stage, we are creating more ways for students to discover their voices and experience the amazing benefits of learning and creating music.
Texas Music Project Receives $30,000 NBCUniversal Local Impact Grant
We are excited to announce that Texas Music Project has been selected as a 2026 NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants recipient!
This $30,000 grant will help fuel our Song of Hope initiative, giving children facing serious health and emotional challenges opportunities to write original songs and bring their stories to life through music and animation.
Young participants will collaborate with professional musicians, producers and animators while developing confidence, telling their stories and discovering potential careers in the creative arts like Chloee, Remy and Skyler have.
Through our partnerships with Cook Children’s and Children’s Health, we have witnessed how music helps children cope, connect and find hope during some of life’s most difficult moments. This support will help us carry that healing beyond hospital walls and reach even more children and families.
We are deeply grateful to NBCUniversal Local, NBC 5 Dallas–Fort Worth and Telemundo 39 for believing in our mission and investing in the next generation of North Texas rock stars!
A major grant has started the momentum. Together, we can amplify the impact.
BE A PART OF THE MOMENTUM. HELP US EXPAND SONG OF HOPE!
