Nestled in the heart of DFW lies a hidden gem of musical enchantment – the Lakeside Music Series. This vibrant celebration of sound and soul showcases a diverse array of artists and musicians, captivating audiences with melodies that linger long after the music fades. Situated within the picturesque setting of Lakeside DFW, this series offers an unparalleled experience for both performers and patrons alike.
“Every Friday night from April through November, you’ll hear a wide variety of original and classic songs from every genre.
“Best of all, it’s free!“
But the Lakeside Music Series is more than just a concert – it’s a platform for emerging talent to shine. Through our Classroom to Stage Program, students, ambassadors, and bands alike take the spotlight, advocating for the transformative power of music. Here, budding musicians find their voice, gaining confidence as they perform before live audiences and honing their craft with each note played.
By saving Lakeside Music Series events on your calendar, you’re not just reserving a night of entertainment – you’re supporting the next generation of artists and musicians. Whether you’re a music enthusiast, a supporter of the arts, or simply seeking a memorable night out, Lakeside offers an experience that transcends the ordinary. The month of May has a special treat from popular singer-songwriter Jon Christopher Davis and Monte Montgomery an acclaimed guitarist and singer-songwriter Named one of the “Top 50 All-Time Greatest Guitar Players” by Guitar Player Magazine, Montgomery first burst into the national consciousness with a performance on Austin City Limits in 1999. Expect covers from rock, R&B, and blues greats, including (we hope) a rendition of the Hall and Oates classic, “Sara Smile,” which he performed with Hall on Daryl’s House in 2008. In partnership with Texas Music Project, you don’t want to miss this concert May 17th, 2024.
Come experience the magic of the Lakeside Music Series every Friday and know that you’re supporting music education and making a difference in the lives that needed the most.
