Can’d Aid focuses on providing underprivileged communities with tools for health, creativity, and self-expression.
In speaking with Abby and Becca, it became immediately clear how closely our missions align. They are part of a nationwide network of volunteers who assemble and deliver meaningful resources—such as ukuleles, bicycles, and more—to communities where access can change lives.
These relationships help Texas Music Project connect the right tools to the right communities through our Music Heals and Music Education programs. The instruments placed through this partnership don’t simply become tools for learning; they become sources of confidence, connection, and healing in classrooms, hospitals, and community spaces across Texas.

Through TMP’s Music Heals initiative, we partner with hospitals and music therapists across Texas to place instruments in spaces where children are navigating illness, trauma, and recovery. Ukuleles built by Can’d Aid volunteers become tools for expression, calm, and hope—inside hospital rooms, classrooms, and community programs. That hands-on commitment mirrors how TMP approaches every program we lead.
